BIOGRAPHY
Khalid Key, a New York-based illustrator and graphic designer, creates artwork ranging from logos, animations, free-hand drawings, to motion graphics and editorials. Growing up in a military family, he benefited from traveling the world at a young age, which also afforded him the opportunity to study in Germany and Holland.
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Khalid moved to New York City to begin his design career. Since then, he has created and collaborated with a multitude of prominent clients including, but not limited to, the National Football League, Marvel Comics, the National Basketball Association, Anheuser Busch, General Motors, and Paramount Pictures.
His diverse cultural and work experiences have served to develop him into a well-rounded professional with an intuitive understanding of the needs of varying brands and businesses. Moreover, he has a deep appreciation for aesthetically pleasing imagery, in combination with his technical design skills, allow him to produce stunning results. He is always searching for innovative ways to express his creativity and would appreciate the opportunity to connect.
